General
Why do you not offer fixed-price projects?
Fixed prices create misaligned incentives. Agencies pad the estimate to protect their margin, then rush the execution to preserve it. We estimate a range based on previous data, bill for time actually spent, and review progress against the budget weekly. You pay for reality, not our risk premium.
Who owns the code/designs/content?
You do. We grant a perpetual, royalty-free license to use everything we create for you. We just ask to retain the right to showcase the work in our portfolio (unless you need a strict NDA).
Pricing
What is the difference between a care plan and a one-off project?
Care plans are reserved capacity for ongoing improvements, maintenance, and support at a blended rate. One-off projects are scoped, standalone pieces of work quoted independently. Care plans get priority scheduling.
Can we change plan later?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your care plan with 30 days' notice. We want you on the plan that matches your current velocity.
Web Design
How long does a typical web design project take?
A marketing site of 8-15 pages usually takes 6-10 weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on content readiness and approval cycles. Larger platforms are phased.
Do you design in the browser or use static mockups?
We do both. We establish the visual direction in Figma, but we move to the browser quickly to test interactions, responsive reflowing, and actual performance. We do not present designs you cannot build.
